2022-23 -- Cross Country: Competed in one meet in fourth season at Cal Poly, placing 38th in Bronco Invite with a personal-best 8K time (24:24.3).
2021-22 -- Cross Country: Ran only in the season-opening Stump Invitational, placing 59th with an 8K time of 25:32.8. Track & Field: Placed 14th in the 1,500 at the Big West Championships … ran a personal best (1:53.23) in the 800 at the Mustang Invitational to capture third … finished fourth in the 1,500 at the West Coast Relays with a personal best of 3:49.93 … received Big West Conference All-Academic honors.
2020-21 -- Cross Country: Season was canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic. Track and Field: Established new personal-best times in two events ... placed 11th in 1,500 at Cal Poly Spring Break Challenge with career-best time of 3:54.63 and was 15th in 800 at Cal Poly Four-Way Meet with time of 2:02.73 ... finished fifth in 1,500 at Wildflower Invitational with time of 4:00.49 and was eighth in 1,500 at Cal Poly Blue-Green Rivalry Meet with time of 4:05.07 ... earned Big West Conference All-Academic honors.
2019-20 -- Cross Country: While redshirting during his first year on campus, competed on an unattached (non-scoring) basis at a trio of meets ... began the fall taking 19th place overall (individually) at the Lagoon Open hosted by UC Santa Barbara on Aug. 31, running the 8k in 26:16.2 ... then at the Capital XC Challenge in Sacramento on Sept. 28, came in 10th overall in the Open Division, via 25:20.5 ... at the Santa Clara Bronco Invite, added a 49th-place time freelancing on Oct. 19, in 25:52.0 at Baylands Park. Track: Spring 2020 season was canceled; however, retains year of eligibility moving forward.
Prep -- With Edmonds-Woodway High School from Edmonds, Wash., came in eighth place at the 2019 WIAA State Championships for the 1,600 meters, with a time of 4:20.35 ... also as a senior for the Warriors, earned a PR of 4:17.09 at the Nike Eason Invitational, good for second place ... also posted a 4:18.84 at the 3A/4A Northwest District Championships, where he was second ... coached by Al Bonney ... served as a team captain in 2019, helping his squad win the 3A state title ... in cross country season, recorded a top 5k effort of 15:31.3 at Lakewood High in 2018 (taking 12th place at the Nike Invitational) ... as a freshman, won the program’s Outstanding Newcomer accolade ... in addition, was a National Honor Society student and Hispanic National Merit Scholar while also participating in Spikeball Club and the Feed Homeless Teens program.
Personal -- Majoring in biomedical engineering ... also visited Gonzaga and Portland; chose Cal Poly in part due to the engineering program and location ... aspires for a career in medicine.
