2021-22 -- Cross Country: Did not compete in any invitational meets in third season at Cal Poly ... placed 36th in Bronco Invitational Open Division. Track & Field: Ran personal records in the 800 (1:56.77) and 1,500 (3:54.46) in his first season competing on the track … finished 10th in the 1,500 at the West Coast Relays … received Big West Conference All-Academic honors.
2020-21 -- Cross Country: Season was canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic. Track & Field: Did not compete in any meets.
2019-20 -- Cross Country: While redshirting during his first year on campus, competed at a pair of meets on an unattached (non-scoring) basis ... took 25th place as an individual at the Capital XC Challenge’s Open Division event on Sept. 28, running the 8k in 25:39.7 ... added a 22nd-place overall finish at the Bronco Invite hosted by Santa Clara Oct. 19, via 25:07.1 around Baylands Park. Track: Spring 2020 season was canceled; however, retains year of eligibility moving forward.
Prep -- Came in 11th place at the 2018 WIAA 3A State Cross Country Meet for Shorecrest High School (in Shoreline, Wash.) with a 5k time of 15:57.0 at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco ... also as a senior, clocked a performance of 15:29.4 (a program record for the distance) at Lakewood High, finishing second at the WESCO/North Sound XC Finals ... also recorded a 15:55.7 at South Whidbey High in Langley in 2018, winning the Carl Westling Invite ... in track season, won the 2019 3A/4A Northwest District 3,200-meter title, via 9:18.58 ... added a fifth-place 1,600m PR of 4:16.89 for the Scots at the 2019 WIAA State Championships ... graduated with honors, while also playing in the orchestra as a violinist.
Personal -- Majoring in computer science ... also visited Portland, Gonzaga and Washington; chose Cal Poly in part because it’s “something new outside Washington plus the program and running, a perfect package.”
