2020-21 -- Cross Country: Season was canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic. Track & Field: Set new personal-best times and placed in two events at Big West Conference Championships ... fourth in 10,000 at 32:12.52 and seventh in 5,000 with a mark of 14:32.11 ... also finished fourth and lowered personal best in 3,000 to 8:24.37 at Cal Poly Blule-Green Rivalry Meet ... eighth in 1,500 with personal-best 3:51.97 at Fresno State Invitational ... third in 5,000 at Cal Poly Four-Way Meet (14:34.07) ... earned Big West Conference All-Academic honors.
2019-20 -- Cross Country: While redshirting during his first year on campus, competed on an unattached (non-scored) basis at the Capital XC Challenge in Sacramento on Sept. 28 ... individually, ran the Arcade Creek 8k course in 26:06.1, good for 57th overall freelancing. Track & Field: Spring 2020 season was cancelled; however, retains year of eligibility moving forward.
Prep -- As a senior at Shorecrest High School in Shoreline, Wash., came in fourth place for the 3,200 meters at the Northwest District 1 Championships, via 9:26.20 ... also for the 3,200m, was the 2019 Solberg Invitational champion, in addition to taking third place at the Wesco 3A South Finals and then 12th at the WIAA State Championships ... his 1,600m PR — 4:19.87 — finished second at the 2019 Shoreline Invite ... in cross country season, posted a 5k performance of 15:41.6 at Lakewood High (earning 10th) at the 2018 North Sound Championship ... added a time of 16:03.6 for the Scots at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco to tally 12th at the 2018 WIAA 3A State Championship ... was also an accomplished swimmer, qualifying for the WIAA State Championships in both the 200-yard freestyle (with a best of 1:49.19) & 500 free (4:50.80) ... won the Lane Loland Award as Distinguished Senior Athlete, in addition to earning the Marissa Elliott Memorial Award (bestowed to the top English student as a junior) and belonging to National Honor Society ... also participated in marching band all four years and played in the jazz band (as first-chair tenor sax) for three years, and volunteered for a non-profit (Shoreline Sports Foundation) his last two years.
