Attended Arizona State University his freshman season where he swam for the Sun Devils under head coach Bob Bowman.

Four-year varsity swimmer at Los Alamitos High School ... team captain during junior and senior years ... helped the team win two Sunset League Championships ... named Sunset League Swimmer of the Year in 2018 and team MVP 2017 and 2018 ... broke the Orange County record in the 200 free, holds three Sunset League records, and holds school records in the 200 medley relay, 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 50 free, and 100 free ... was also on the school's surfing team for two years.
