SAN LUIS OBISPO – Closing the regular season sixth among Big West players with 17.2 points per game and ranked 23rd among NCAA Division I players with an 88.8 percent free throw mark, graduate guard Owen Koonce earned All-Big West honorable mention recognition Tuesday afternoon.
Also sixth in the Big West with a 39.8 (64-for-161) percent three-point mark and the conference’s seventh leading shooter at 52.4 (200-for-382) percent, Koonce has scored in double digits in 27 of 32 games this season while reaching 20-plus points in a game 13 times.
