Cal Poly Women's Soccer Opens Spring Season Tuesday

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — The Cal Poly women's soccer program, who advanced to its ninth Big West Championship match this past season, opens its spring training camp Tuesday morning at Doerr Family Field.

The Mustangs' 2024 spring schedule features five matches and a home intrasquad scrimmage.

Cal Poly will play four of its exhibition matches on the road, starting with a trip to Fresno State on Saturday, April 13, to open its spring slate. Last year, Cal Poly opened its 2023 season with a 1-1 draw at the Bulldogs.

Then the Mustangs head to Division II Westmont on Saturday, April 20. The team plays its final two road matches of the spring on Saturday, April 27, in Santa Barbara, facing Blue-Green rival UCSB at 1 p.m. and Cal State Monterey Bay at 2:30 p.m.

Cal Poly hosts an intrasquad scrimmage on Saturday, May 3, at 7 p.m. before wrapping up its spring schedule at home on Sunday, May 12, at 2 p.m. against San Francisco Glens SC, who plays in the USL W League.
