SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Cal Poly’s fourth Big West award in the last three consecutive weeks comes via star redshirt junior setter Emme Bullis who notched her ninth career such honor with Setter of the Week on Monday, Nov. 25.
Along with 14 digs through the week, Bullis tallied 40+ assists in both matches last week (89 total) for 8.90 assists per set to finish as the Big West's second-leading setter on the season (10.26 per set).
Bullis supplied 44 assists against UC Riverside to go along with her 11 digs for a double-double and helped Cal Poly to a .250 team-hitting percentage with the third most kills this season as a team (60).
The redshirt junior from Whitewater, Wis. upped the ante in the regular season title-clinching effort against UC Davis on Saturday, tallying 45 assists as the Mustangs came out with a five-set win thanks in part to Bullis’ eight assists in the tiebreaker frame.
