FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Cal Poly's Max Powell and Lyndon Kov wrapped up competition at the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships on Tuesday inside the Weyerhauser King County Aquatic Center.
Powell finished 22nd (259.20) out of 29 divers in the prelims of the men's 3-meter dive Tuesday. Kov hit the board Monday to participate in the men's 1-meter dive and took home a 27th-place finish (199.75).
For Powell, this was his final meet as a Mustang. The senior finishes his Cal Poly career as a three-time All-MPSF honoree. The Fairfax, Virginia native also owns a pair of school records in the men's 1-meter and 3-meter dives.
Kov will look to build off an impressive freshman campaign next season. He is already fourth all-time in school history in the 1-meter dive and fifth in the 3-meter.
The NCAA Zone E Diving Championships were the final event of the 2022-23 season for the Mustangs.
