SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- A seven-run sixth-inning uprising snapped a 2-2 tie and powered Cal Poly to a 10-3 win over Hawai'i on Saturday, salvaging one win in a three-game Big West Conference baseball series at Baggett Stadium.

In the nightcap, Cal Poly overcame an early 1-0 deficit with two runs in the fourth on RBI singles off the bats of Wyatt King and Taison Corio.
After Hawai'i tied the game at 2-2 in the top of the sixth, Cal Poly erupted for seven runs in the bottom half, the rally highlighted by a two-run single from Joe Yorke, a run-scoring double by King and RBI singles by Ryan Stafford and Collin Villegas.
The Mustangs added their final run in the seventh on another Stafford RBI single.
Cal Poly's 14-hit offensive attack was led by Villegas with four singles and two hits each by Stafford, King and Corio. Matt Wong, Jacob Igawa and Zach Storbakken each had two of Hawai'i's 12 hits.
