2024 — Played in 34 games with two starts (one each in left field versus San Diego State on April 2 and as designated hitter against Long Beach State on May 25) … collected his four hits in the two starts … doubled in the San Diego State game and in the season finale against Long Beach State went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored … hit a solo home run in the second inning and with his team trailing 6-5 with one out in the bottom of the ninth smashed a walk-off two-run double off the left-field wall to drive in the tying and winning runs … third on the team with five sacrifice bunts … his three RBIs for the year all were in the last game of the season … finished with .200 average (4-for-20) … earned spot on Big West’s Spring Academic All-Conference team … did not play summer ball.
2023 — King had a batting average of .226 as a true freshman … played in 52 games and started in 49 ... he had 36 hits 14 RBIs and a .366 on base percentage ... a fielding percentage of .967 with 86 putouts ... five multiple-hit games (all two hits) and three multiple-RBI contests … pair of five-game hitting streaks and his longest streak of reaching base safely was 13 games … hit .250 against lefties and .216 versus righties … hit a double in first game of collegiate career against Missouri State.
High School — Under head coach Matt Maguire, King hit .311 in 34 games with 12 doubles, two triples, six home runs and 39 RBIs, leading St. Francis to a 31-5 overall record, first place in the West Catholic Athletic League, a CIF-Central Coast Section Division I championship with a 1-0 victory over Palo Alto and a berth in the final round of the NorCal State Division I Championship, falling to De La Salle 7-6 ... 10 multiple-hit games ... drove in eight runs and hit a grand slam against Mitty when St. Francis clinched the WCAL regular-season title ... King earned first-team All-WCAL, second-team All-Bay Area News Group, first-team All-Bay Area (West Coast Preps), second-team All-Metro (San Francisco Chronicle), second-team All-State (Cal-Hi Sports) and All-Northern California (MaxPreps) honors ... also No. 8 in MaxPreps' Bay Area Baseball Top 45 and King also earned the Daniel Descalso Leadership Award ... a three-year varsity starter in center field for St. Francis (2020 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic) ... after two COVID-impacted seasons, helped lead Lancers to program-record 31 wins as a senior in 2022 ... hit .253 in 26 games during his junior season with four doubles, two home runs, 13 RBIs and 11 stolen bases ... produced four multiple-hit games and helped Lancers to 16-12 overall mark ... a preseason Underclass All-American, a WWBA Champion, a WWBA All-Tournament Team selection and earned a High School Gold Glove Award ...
