Following those two home duals, Cal Poly heads to the Menlo Open on Nov. 5, the Tiger Style Invite on Nov. 11 and the Roadrunner Open on Nov. 19 before competing in the prestigious Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational on Dec. 1-2. Inside the Westgate Paradise Event Center in Las Vegas, the Mustangs will encounter 15 teams ranked inside the top 25 in InterMat's preseason tournament national rankings.
Cal Poly will test itself against the best of the best once again on Dec. 29-30 when they travel to Hoffman Estates, Ill. for the 59th annual Ken Kraft Midlands Championships hosted by Northwestern. The top programs in the Big Ten are slated to take part in the tourney along with a slew of other high-level teams.
The Mustangs return home for the first time in over two months on Friday, Jan. 12, when they host American University at 5:30 p.m. and Northern Colorado at 7 p.m. The team caps the jam-packed weekend with a dual against Air Force at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14.
