Cal Poly Men’s Basketball Schedule Update (Dec. 3)

SAN LUIS OBISPO – Beginning with a Friday, Dec. 4 home matchup with San Francisco, the Cal Poly men's basketball program is scheduled to play three home games inside Mott Athletics Center in the next six days.

One week after opening the regular season with a home victory against Bethesda College, Cal Poly (1-0) will host San Francisco (3-2) on Friday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. San Francisco, which dealt Nevada an 85-60 defeat in Reno on Wednesday, opened its season with a 2-2 record at the Nov. 25-29 Mohegan Sun Bubbleville Pod competition in Uncasville, Conn. Among San Francisco's two wins was a 61-60 victory against No. 4 Virginia (Nov. 27).
Cal Poly last faced the Dons on Dec. 15, 2014 with the Mustangs producing a 78-71 victory in San Francisco. Friday's matchup marks just the ninth all-time meeting between the two programs and sixth matchup in the past 22 seasons.
Cal Poly's home stand continues versus New Mexico State on Monday, Dec. 7 (6 p.m.) and Santa Clara on Wednesday, Dec. 9 (6 p.m.).
