Dual Wrestling Meet at Air Force Canceled Due to Government Shutdown

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- Cal Poly's non-conference dual wrestling meet Sunday at Air Force has been canceled due to the ongoing federal government shutdown.
"Due to the government shutdown, all Air Force Academy home and away intercollegiate athletic events have been cancelled until further notice," according to a statement posted on www.goairforcefalcons.com. "In the event a solution is reached, the Academy will work to reschedule as many missed events as possible."
On Saturday, Air Force postponed its men's and women's basketball games against Fresno State as well as a men's hockey match and a women's swim meet.
Cal Poly will host Stanford on Friday at 7 p.m. for a Pac-12 Conference dual meet as part of Alumni and Supporter Weekend.
