
Cal Poly Volleyball Falls to Long Beach State 3-0

LONG BEACH – The Cal Poly Volleyball team couldn't keep up with Long Beach State Friday night, as they lost 3-0 in their first away conference match of the season.
The Mustangs lost 25-19, 25-22, 25-15, putting them 7-6 overall on the season and 0-2 in conference play.
Sophomore Adlee Van Winden and senior Taylor Gruenewald both led the team in kills with 11. Gruenewald also led the team in blocks with three.
Junior Taylor Nelson led the team in assists, putting up 29 of the team's 35, while also leading in digs with 11.
The Mustangs had a .106 attack percentage while Long Beach State had .255.
The Mustangs will be back in action Saturday Oct. 1 to take on CSUN at 7:00 p.m.
