
Mustangs Host Long Beach State for PLAY 4KAY Game, Saturday

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The Cal Poly women's basketball team will go pink when the team will host Long Beach State in the annual PLAY4KAY game on Saturday at 4 pm. There will be no charge for admission for all fans who wear pink.
The 2014 Play 4Kay initiative is an opportunity for a nation of coaches to raise breast cancer awareness and funds for research on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond.
Since its inception in 2007, the Play 4Kay initiative has raised over $2.8 million to support women's cancer research.
The Kay Yow Cancer Fund, in partnership with the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and The V Foundation, is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization committed to being a part of finding an answer in the fight against women's cancers through raising money for scientific research, assisting the underserved and unifying people for a common cause.
The Mustangs enter the game with a 14-9 overall record and are leading the Big West Conference at 8-2. LBSU enters the game13-11 overall and post a 5-5 conference record.
