
Four Mustangs Earn Wins at Home Dual Meet Against Wyoming

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — The Cal Poly swimming and diving program won four individual events against Wyoming on Saturday afternoon to highlight an early-season dual meet at Anderson Aquatic Center.
Mustang freshman Bonnie Diamond won the women's 200-yard freestyle at 1:53.54, before also finishing as the runner-up in the 100 free at 53.13 seconds.
In the 200 fly, junior Belen Enguidanos touched the wall ahead of anyone else, at 2:05.46.
Meanwhile on the 3-meter board, freshman Lauren Pierce dove to a win for the Mustangs by totaling a score of 261.67.
Cal Poly also picked up a victory on the men's side from junior Mickey Mackle in the 200 breaststroke, at 2:06.19.
He also added a second-place swim soon afterward, at 1:53.49 in the 200 individual medley.

The Mustangs will next head to the Arena Invitational held in Monterey Park from Thursday through Saturday.
