Ernesto Perez was hired as the Assistant Director of Marketing and Fan Experience in January 2022.
Perez worked the last five seasons with the Los Angeles Galaxy Soccer Club in Game Operations. Additionally, he has served in similar roles from several Los Angeles-based teams and facilities. He also worked retail sales and as a Premium Sales Consultant at Best Buy.
Perez started as a marketing intern for UC Davis Athletics from 2008-11, moving into a full-time role in 2011 as the Manager of Fan Experience. He eventually was promoted to the role of Director of Fan Experience and Community Outreach in 2015 and left UC Davis in 2016 after a year as the manager for Schaal Aquatics Center.
Perez graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a degree in Communication in 2014.
