Chris Ritter is in his 17th season as a sports medicine professional at Cal Poly.
Prior to coming to Cal Poly, Ritter was a sports medicine professional at UC Santa Barbara for 10 years. A graduate of UC Santa Barbara, Ritter worked his way through the student athletic training program under the direction of Harry Callihan and Leroy Heu.
After graduating from UC Santa Barbara in 1994, Ritter worked in a variety of settings that included clinical work, high school athletic training and as an assistant with the Anaheim Ducks professional hockey team.
Ritter works primarily with the women's volleyball and softball teams.
Ritter and his wife Stacey were married in July 2003.
