Ashleigh Horstmann was hired in December 2015 to be the Coordinator of Administration and Special Projects. She was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Administration/Chief of Athletic Staff in December 2019.
A native of Southern California, she received her master’s degree in Sport Management from University of San Francisco and a bachelor’s degree from University of California, Santa Barbara, in Sociology with a minor in Sport Management.
Prior to coming to Cal Poly, she spent three years in city government and completed internships with the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, STAPLES Center Foundation, USA Water Polo, AVP Professional Beach Volleyball Tour, and Special Olympics.
