2022 -- Competed in three meets in fourth year at Cal Poly … ran personal bests in the 800-meter (1:54.21) and 1,500 (4:03.89) … helped the 4x400 relay team finish first at the Mustang Invitational and Cal Poly Open.
2021 -- Competed in three meets in third season at Cal Poly ... placed fourth in 800 with personal-best time of 1:54.30 at Cal Poly Blue-Green Rivalry Meet ... also was fifth in Cal Poly Spring Break Challenge (1:55.50) and sixth in Cal Poly Four-Way Meet (1:55.08) ... established new personal best in 1,500 at Cal Poly Spring Break Challenge with time of 4:04.12.
2020 -- Season was canceled due to the pandemic, but retains NCAA year of eligibility looking ahead ... meanwhile, made the Big West All-Academic Team in addition to earning Conference Commissioner’s Highest Honors academically.
2019 -- Specialized in the 800 meters as a freshman, clocking a season-best time of 1:54.93 (to tally sixth place) at the Blue-Green Rivalry Dual vs. UC Santa Barbara on April 27 ... also recorded an 800m performance of 1:58.63 at the 37th annual Cal Poly #ShareSLO Invitational hosted March 23, good for eighth overall amid the field of 25 ... additionally, earned Big West Conference Commissioner’s Honors for academics.
Prep -- As a senior for Sonoma Academy High School, came in fifth place in the 800 meters at the North Coast Section Meet of Champions, with a PR of 1:55.10 ... for the 1,600m, earned fourth at the 2018 Dublin Distance Fiesta via a career-best performance of 4:22.37 ... during cross country season with the Coyotes, posted a 5k of 16:29.2 at the 2017 CIF Division 5 State Championship, good for 18th ... in high school, was coached by Cal Poly Hall of Fame inductee and fellow Santa Rosa native Danny Aldridge, a back-to-back All-American at the Division I level for the Mustangs in 1978 and 1979 (along with the school record-holder for the 1,500m, as he ran 3:40.67 at the NCAA Championships at Oregon) ... started high school career as a freshman sprinter before transitioning to longer distance ... helped lead Sonoma Academy to three consecutive Coastal Mountain Conference titles ... also played soccer (as a midfielder) and basketball (at shooting guard) ... selected as one of seven 2017-18 Santa Rosa Press-Democrat Area Athletes of the Year, in addition to garnering All-Empire accolades ... was an honors student, in addition to participating in student government, volunteering and working.
Personal -- Majoring in software engineering ... also visited UC Santa Barbara, UC San Diego, UC Davis and Santa Clara; chose Cal Poly because he “loved the location, my sister goes here so I know it well, and Cal Poly has a great engineering program.”
