2019-20 -- Cross Country: While redshirting during her first year on campus, competed on an unattached (non-scored) basis at a trio of XC meets ... opened the fall by individually finishing 18th at the Lagoon Open hosted by UC Santa Barbara on Aug. 31, running the 5k in 19:12.8 ... in another freelance 5k event, took 43rd overall at the UC Riverside Invitational on Sept. 14, via an identical 19:12.8 time ... wrapped up her redshirt season with a 23:36.6 effort in a 6k at the Bronco Invite hosted by Santa Clara in Baylands Park Oct. 19. Indoor Season: Redshirted. Outdoor Track & Field: Spring 2020 season was cancelled; however, retains year of eligibility moving forward.
Prep -- As a senior for Scripps Ranch High School in San Diego, came in 43rd place at the CIF State Division 2 Cross Country Championship, with a 5k time of 18:45.1 at Woodward Park in Fresno ... at a 2.96-mile course, took seventh at the San Diego Section Championships, via 18:30.7 at Morley Field (Balboa Park) ... on a 3-mile venue, finished 27th at the 2018 Dana Hills Nike Invitational by clocking a time of 18:12.7 at Dana Point ... top 2-mile effort — 11:17.2 at University City High — tallied third at the 2018 HOKA Postal Nationals ... also came in third place at the 2018 Mt. SAC Invitational, traversing the 2.93-mile terrain in 18:37.0 ... in track season, clocked a 3,200-meter PR of 11:18.69 (good for fourth at the 2018 Escondido Invitational); also was sixth at the 2019 San Diego Section Prelims ... earned a 1,600m best of 5:18.83 for the Falcons in 2018 (placing second at the Jim Cerveny Invite) ... in addition, was a Scholar-Athlete and National Honor Society student, while participating in ASB, Principal’s Committee, and also playing lacrosse and soccer.
Personal -- Majors in Business ... also visited St. Mary’s; chose Cal Poly “because I loved the people, the team, the academics and the environment which surrounds it” ... aspires to become a marketing manager.
