Colorado: 2012: George ran in a pair of races… Led CU at the Santa Clara Bronco Invite, placing 13th overall… George also competed in the Pac-12 Championships, finishing 63rd as CU’s seventh racer with a time of 22:10…
Colorado: 2011: George started off the season by placing 11th overall at the Rocky Mountain Shootout (22:17), scoring for the first time at CU as the No. 5 runner... Followed up with a 115th place finish at pre-nationals... George concluded the season with a 69th-place finish at the Pac-12 Championships with a time of 21:55...
Colorado: 2010: George earned a spot on the varsity roster as a redshirt freshman… She started the year off by placing 62nd at the Rocky Mountain Shootout and a time of 23:50… George followed up with a 10th-place finish in the open race at pre-nationals… Competed at the Big 12 Championship, placing 55th overall...
Colorado: 2009: Redshirt. Did not compete.
Livermore High School: George was a nine-time league champion, winning the cross country titles in her freshman through junior years, the 800-meter run as a junior and senior, the 1,600 her freshman through senior years and the 3,200 her sophomore through senior year. George raced to a sixth-place finish in the state cross country meet in 2008 after finishing 14th in 2007 to earn all-state second team honors in 2008. On the track she finished seventh in the state (1600) her junior and senior years after taking ninth as a sophomore. George’s highest finish at the state meet was fifth in the 3200 as a sophomore. She was 19th at the USA Junior Cross Country Championships in 2009.
HIGH SCHOOL BESTS: 800-Meters: 2:15.09; 1,600-Meters: 4:52; 3,200-Meters: 10:35.
Colorado: George graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering from Colorado with an impressive 3.765 GPA. In 2011 and ’12, she was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team. She was also a member of the Big 12 All-Academic First Team in 2010 and was a member of the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll. George received the Sandia Women’s Committee Award in Mathematics…Enrolled at Cal Poly in the master’s program at Cal Poly in biomedical engineering with a specialization in heart valves...
