2019-20 -- Cross Country: While redshirting his first year on campus, competed on an unattached (non-scoring) basis at four meets ... began the XC season with a 28th-place overall (individual) 8k showing of 27:07.3 at UC Santa Barbara’s Lagoon Open on Aug. 31, before earning ninth place in the Open Division of the UC Riverside Invite Sept. 14 (via 25:56.4) ... also in an Open Section event, took 13th place at the Capital Challenge on Sept. 28 in Sacramento, running the Arcade Creek Course in 25:23.5 ... wrapped up his redshirt fall with a 47th-place overall time freelancing at the Bronco Invitational hosted by SCU Oct. 19, when he traversed Baylands Park in 25:49.9. Track: Spring 2020 season was cancelled; however, retains year of eligibility moving forward.
Prep -- While a senior at Woodbridge High School in Irvine, had a 3,200-meter PR of 9:21.08 which took third place at the 2019 Southern Section Division 2 Prelims ... in the 1,600m, posted a career-best effort of 4:18.44 to take seventh place at the 2019 Orange County Championship Meet, on the way to a performance of 4:18.61 (third) at the divisional prelims ... graduated having won a combined four league championships between the 1,600m & 3,200m as a Warrior... in cross country season, came in 14th place at the 2018 CIF State Division 2 Championship, posting a 5k time of 15:33.9 at Woodward Park in Fresno ... his 3-mile best — 14:38.7 at Irvine Regional Park — won the 2018 Pacific Coast League championship, his second consecutive conference title ... was a Scholar-Athlete, graduating with High Honors.
Personal -- Majors in Electrical Engineering ... also visited UC San Diego and Santa Clara; chose Cal Poly in part due to the “engineering program as well as for the cross country & track team” ... aspires for a career in the electrical engineering field.
