2024 — Compiled 4-2 record and 3.23 ERA as a redshirt sophomore en route to All-Big West Honorable Mention praise after transitioning from a two-way player to full-time closer … nine saves were tied for fourth in Big West, one behind trio of co-leaders … 54 strikeouts over 47 1/3 innings … appeared in 28 games, all in relief … wins were against North Dakota State (two scoreless innings), Utah (2 2/3 scoreless innings), CSUN (2 2/3 scoreless innings) and UC Davis (three scoreless innings) … longest stint was 4 1/3 scoreless frames in an 11-10 loss to UC Santa Barbara … season-high eight strikeouts versus Gauchos … opponents hit just .207 against Sagouspe … earned team’s Jim Newkirk Fireman’s Award … also landed on Big West’s Spring Academic All-Conference team … did not play summer ball.

2023 — A rare two-way player for Larry Lee as a redshirt freshman … played in 27 games and started in 15 with a batting average of .203 … 13 hits, five RBIs and 11 runs scored … three multiple-hit games (all two hits vs. Oregon State, UC Santa Barbara and Fresno State) … two RBIs versus San Jose State … pitched in 14 1/3 innings with 16 strikeouts … earned victory in completion of suspended game against San Jose State, tossing two scoreless frames after Cal Poly rallied from 9-3 deficit … 1-2 record and 8.79 ERA … earned save against CSUN (one scoreless inning) … played summer ball for Eau Claire Express in Northwoods League, compiling 3-0 record and 6.60 ERA with 24 strikeouts over 15 innings … also hit .216 with four doubles, two triples, four home runs and 23 RBIs.

2022 — Played in five games during first three weeks of season before he was sidelined the rest of the season with an injury, resulting in a redshirt year in which he received a medical hardship waiver... went 0-for-2 at the plate and drew one walk against Fresno State ... did not play summer ball.

High School — A 2021 graduate of San Joaquin Memorial High School in Fresno, Calif. ... under head coach JD Salles, hit .490 as a senior with 48 hits, including 11 home runs ... named Fresno Bee Large Schools Player of the Year and landed on the All-County/Metro Athletic Conference first team ... also was named co-County/Metro Athletic Conference Player of the Year and led Panthers to 24-5 overall mark, County/Metro Athletic Conference title and a berth in the CIF-Central Section Division 1 playoffs ... in the pandemic-shortened 2020 season, Sagouspe hit a double and a triple and pitched three scoreless innings for a win against Clovis ... as a sophomore in 2019, Sagouspe earned first-team All-County/Metro Athletic Conference honors as he led the Panthers to a 27-5 record, including a first-place finish in the County/Metro Athletic Conference and their second straight CIF-Central Section Division 2 championship with a walkoff nine-inning 3-2 win over Sanger ...
