Alejo Rosas
- Title:
- Student Manager (field)
Alejo Rosas is a second-year Civil Engineering major from Arvin, California, who is interested in the sub-discipline of Water Resources Engineering. This is his second year working with the Cal Poly Baseball Team as a Field Student Manager. Alejo’s tasks are to work with his team of managers to efficiently create an exceptional playing surface that ensures safety and comfort for all players.
Rosas has been around the sport of baseball for as long as he can remember. He began playing when he was 3 years old and fell in love with the game. In his childhood, he played recreationally until eventually competing at the high school level and still loves being around the game, even if it is off of the field.
As a graduate of Arvin High School in 2022, Rosas played first base and third base for the Bears for all four years, as well as center for the basketball team for three years. Outside of sports, he was a part of his school’s Link Crew program, where he would help incoming freshmen transition from middle school to high school. Alejo was also a member of Arvin High School’s “We The People” constitution team and would go on to win the district championship and compete for a state title.
Rosas’ parents are Alejo Rosas and Gabriela Guzman, and his siblings are Amaya and Emilio Rosas.
