2023-- A Second-Team All-Big West choice in 2023 after hitting .313 with a team-leading 20 doubles to go with seven home runs and 44 RBIs ... Also threw out 11 would-be base stealers for the second straight year and picked off three other runners ... had 10 multiple-hit games ... over the summer, played on the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team under Cal Poly head coach Larry Lee... had three hits in six games for Team USA.
2022 -- Cal Poly's 10th Freshman All-American as selected by Collegiate Baseball News and Baseball America, Stafford also earned first-team All-Big West Conference accolades after hitting .321 with 16 doubles, one triple, three home runs and driving in 33 runs ... started all 58 games as a true freshman, 45 behind the plate, 12 in left field and one as designated hitter ... 25 multiple-hit games, including a trio of four-hit games and three three-hit contests, and seven multi-RBI games ... produced 12-game hitting streak from May 6-26, going 26-for-51 (.510) with three doubles, a triple, one home run and 16 RBIs ... also had a 10-game streak from March 19 through April 2, going 17-for-42 (.405) with three doubles and six RBIs ... home runs included two in UNLV series and one versus CSU Bakersfield ... four-hit contests came against UNLV, CSU Bakersfield and Cal State Fullerton ... his six sacrifice flies led the conference while his 79 hits were No. 2 ... named Big West Field Player of the Week on May 9 after going 8-for-11 with a home run, five runs scored and six RBIs in the CSU Bakersfield series ... hitting above the .330 mark during the first seven weeks of the season as Cal Poly's leadoff hitter, Stafford's average dipped to .280 over the next four weeks before the Mustang coaching staff decided a change of scenery was in order ... High School -- As a senior under head coach Aaron Agnew at Folsom High School, Stafford hit .458 with nine doubles, two triples, a pair of home runs and 19 RBIs, earning first-team All-Sierra Foothill League honors ... 13 multiple-hit games ... named to Optimist All-Star Game ... led Bulldogs to 13-11-1 record and a berth in CIF-Sac-Joaquin Section Division I playoffs ... was 6-for-10 with a double and triple in three games as a junior and Bulldogs were off to a 3-0 start prior to the suspension of the 2020 season due to the pandemic ... as a sophomore in 2019 produced a .333 mark with 32 hits in 31 games ... four doubles and a triple, knocking in 17 runs and stealing 15 bases ...
