After three seasons as Cal Poly's third baseman, will move to the outfield for his redshirt junior campaign.
2020 -- Played in 14 games with 11 starts at third base in third season at Cal Poly ... his eight hits included a triple versus BYU ... hit .186 and knocked in four runs, including two on a bases-loaded single versus BYU ... did not play summer ball.
2019 -- As a sophomore third baseman, hit .255 with 50 hits, including 11 doubles, one triple and pair of home runs ... 22 RBIs and three steals in three attempts ... tripled versus USC on April 27 and hit both home runs at Fresno State on April 30, driving in three runs ... produced a walk-off run-scoring grounder to second base in 12th inning versus Columbia on March 9 ... hit .314 as leadoff hitter and drove in seven runs in 10 opportunities with a runner at third base and less than two outs ... 14 multiple-hit games, including pair of three-hit contests, and four multi-RBI games ... started 54 games, all at third base ... played summer ball for Yakima Valley in West Coast League, hitting .270 with 20 hits in 21 games ... three doubles, one triple and a home run with 12 RBIs ... went 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs versus Bend.
2018 --Played in 44 games with 31 starts as a true freshman ... 24 starts at third base and seven at shortstop ... hit .226 with two doubles and nine RBI ... .357 on-base percentage among the leaders on the team ... three-hit game against UC Davis (one double, two singles) and pair of two-hit contests ... doubles were against UC Davis and UCLA ... hit by pitch six times, fourth on the team ... hit .256 on the road, .277 in games lost and .300 in day games ... played summer ball for Yakima Valley in West Coast League, hitting .260 with 10 doubles, one triple, to home runs and 15 RBI with seven steals.
High School -- A .372 hitter as a senior, .457 as a junior and .475 as a sophomore under head coach Troy Gerlach at Arcadia High School in Phoenix, Arizona ... also as a senior collected 12 doubles, a triple, two home runs and 19 RBI with seven steals, leading Titans to 22-11 overall record, second-place finish in 5A Northeast Valley and a semifinal finish in state 5A playoffs ... as a junior last spring, DiCarlo hit .457 with six doubles, a triple and four home runs, knocking in 19 runs and stealing six bases ... earned first-team all-city, all-section and all-state honors and landed on the all-state Division II academic team as well ... 13 doubles, 13 RBI and six steals as a sophomore and .250 as a freshman with two doubles, a pair of triples, 13 RBI and five stolen bases ... Arcadia was 20-11 in 2016 and earned a share of the Division II Section III title ... also recruited by Houston, Harvard and Arizona, DiCarlo chose to be a Mustang because "I thought it was the right fit for me and, after walking on campus, I knew this was where I wanted to play baseball and further my education" ... member of National Honors Society ... played summer ball for Utah Marshalls, posting a .342 average and 33 RBI.
