2016 -- In junior season played in 45 games with 26 starts -- nine in left field and 17 as designated hitter ... hit .269 with three doubles, a triple and two home runs, knocking in 15 runs ... homers were solo shots against CSU Bakersfield and UC Davis, both in the fourth inning ... triple was at CSU Bakersfield ... three-hit games against Cal State Fullerton on April 10, CSU Bakersfield on May 17 and UC Riverside on May 22 ... elevated average 53 points in final two weeks of season by going 11-for-22 (.500) in seven games ... eight multiple-hit games ... was 6-for-9 in Cal State Fullerton series with two RBI ... hit .319 in Big West games ... played summer ball for Kelowna Falcons in West Coast League, hitting .266 with two doubles, one triple, one home run and six RBI.
2015: Played in 27 games, including seven starts -- four in the outfield and three as designated hitter -- in his sophomore season ... a .188 hitter with nine hits, including four doubles ... knocked in eight runs ... two-hit games against Grand Canyon and Pepperdine ... delivered pinch-hit two-run double against CSU Bakersfield and led team with four pinch hits ... did not play summer ball due to a hip injury.
2014: Played in 16 games as a true freshman pinch hitter and reserve outfielder ... hit .538 with seven hits in 13 at-bats, including a pair of doubles ... in middle game of Big West title-clinching series at Cal State Northridge went 2-for-2 with two doubles, two runs scored and three RBI ... played in both NCAA Regional games against Pepperdine --- 3-for-7 as a pinch-hitter ... played summer ball for Walla Walla Sweets in West Coast League ... hit .273 with five doubles, one triple, a home run and 17 RBI ... was 4-for-5 in a game against Kitsap.
High School: Earned first-team All-Big VIII honors as a junior and second-team all-league accolades as a senior under head coach Ty DeTrinidad at Santiago High School in Corona ... a four-year varsity letter winner in baseball and also lettered three times in football as a free safety ... as a senior in baseball, hit .303 with five doubles and a pair of triples ... knocked in 19 runs and committed just four errors in 144 fielding chances ... helped 2013 Sharks baseball team claim a share of Big VIII championship, a 17-10 overall mark and a berth in the CIF-Southern Section Division I playoffs ... as a junior, hit .361 with 14 doubles, two triples and a home run, knocking in 23 runs ... a two-year team captain and was nominated for the Area Code Games ... named to the Darryl Kile All-Tournament Team ... also recruited by San Jose State, UC Riverside and Cal Baptist, choosing Cal Poly because “the area is amazing and Coach Lee’s approach to hitting was superior to every coach I’ve ever met.
