2022 -- Made four appearances on the mound in first four weeks of season before an injury sidelined him the rest of the way ... no record and 12.46 ERA ... opponents hit just .188 and Buxton struck out seven batters over 4 1/3 innings ... pitched a scoreless inning against Fresno State and secured two outs without allowing a run at UNLV ... played summer ball for the Traverse City Pit Spitters in Northwoods League, striking out 10 batters over 9 2/3 innings ... 11 appearances on the mound, all in relief ... no decisions and a 10.24 ERA.

2021 -- Pitched in two games, both in relief, in first season as a Mustang ... no record and 11.57 ERA with a pair of strikeouts over 2 1/3 innings ... pitched two scoreless innings against UC Santa Barbara and secured one out versus UC Irvine ... played summer ball for Traverse City in the Northwoods League.

High School -- A 2020 graduate of Tamalpais High School, which won four of five games before 2020 season was suspended due to the pandemic ... Buxton pitched 15 scoreless innings with 21 strikeouts and a 3-0 mark before the season came to an end ... as a junior in 2019 under head coach Nathan Bernstein, Buxton recorded a 5-2 record and 1.56 ERA with one save and 54 strikeouts over 49 innings ... opponents hit just .158 against the right-hander ... named to the Marin County Athletic League first team and also earned second-team all-state honors and San Francisco Chronicle All-Metro honorable mention praise ... helped Red Tailed Hawks to an 18-8 overall mark, first-place finish in the Marin County Athletic League and a spot in the CIF-North Coast Section Division 2 playoffs ... as a sophomore, Buxton was 1-0 with a 1.73 ERA and 28 strikeouts over 28 1/3 innings, opposing batters hitting .231 ... also recruited by San Francisco, Buxton chose to attend Cal Poly because "it has always been a top school for me.
