Expected to back up the infielders and/or outfielders in second season at Cal Poly.
2022 -- Haas hit .265 in 42 games (30 starts) with three doubles, a triple, three home runs and 17 RBIs ... 13 starts in right field and 17 as Cal Poly's designated hitter ... eight two-hit games, including three in a row against UC Irvine, Stanford and UC Riverside from April 16-22 ... compiled seven-game hitting streak to open the season, going 9-for-27 (.333) ... home runs were against Washington, Fresno State and Harvard ... played summer ball for Lake Shore in Northwoods League ... hit .276 in 40 games with 10 doubles, three home runs and 20 RBIs ... ended season with six-game hitting streak, going 10-for-23 (.435) with two doubles and four RBIs.
Brown -- Haas attended Brown for two years before transferring to Cal Poly ... Bears did not play baseball in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Haas played just one game in the pandemic-shortened 2020 campaign, starting at second base against Presbyterian and going 0-for-4.
