2011: Started 37 games, all but the last four at third base … finished the year with four starts at second base … hit .223 with five doubles, knocking in 14 runs … a quartet of two-hit games and trio of two-RBI contests … a .333 hitter four weeks into season … went 4-for-10 in Cal State Fullerton series ... among Big West leaders with 14 sacrifice bunts … reached base 47.1 percent of the time as leadoff hitter ... eight RBI in nine opportunities with runner on third and less than two outs ... hit .281 at home and .159 on the road ... played summer ball for Kitsap BlueJackets in West Coast Collegiate Baseball League … among his six hits were a double and home run.
2010: After starting two games in the season-opening USC series at first base, was moved to third base and provided solid defense at the hot corner ... hit .286 as a redshirt freshman with seven doubles, two triples, a pair of home runs and 27 RBI ... stole four of five bases ... played in 50 games with 46 starts ... nine multiple-hit games and five multiple-RBI contests ... ended the season going 5-for-6 with six RBI and five runs scored against Cal State Bakersfield ... one double and two home runs -- his only two homers of the season -- among his five hits, becoming the ninth player in Cal Poly's 17-year Division I history to collect five or more hits in a game ... went 3-for-5 with one run scored against UC Irvine on May 9 ... doubled twice against Fresno State on March 23 ... triples were against Loyola Marymount and Cal State Bakersfield in final week of season ... went 13-for-29 in final nine games of season ... hit .318 against right-handed pitchers, .365 with runners on base, .356 with runners in scoring position and drove in eight runs in 12 opportunities with a runner on third and less than two outs ... earned team's John Orton Golden Glove Award ... played summer ball for Bend Elks in West Coast Collegiate Baseball League, hitting .230 with two doubles, three triples, a pair of home runs, 14 RBI and four stolen bases ... went 4-for-9 in WCCBL championship series.
2009: Redshirt ... played summer ball for the San Luis Obispo Rattlers and hit .264 with four doubles, eight RBI and three stolen bases.
High School: A four-year letterman in baseball, football and track at Pleasant Valley High ... a career .410 hitter with 132 hits, 26 doubles, eight triples, five home runs, 75 RBIs, 131 runs scored and 66 stolen bases under head coach Ron Souza ... hit .440 as a senior with two home runs, 13 RBIs and was 15 of 16 in stolen bases ... struck out just 19 times in 337 career at-bats ... led Vikings to 22-6 record overall, 13-1 mark for Eastern League title and berth in second round of CIF-Northern Section playoffs ... earned all-league honors four times and twice was league MVP ...
