2025 — In second season at Cal Poly, hit .264 with 11 doubles, one triple, seven home runs and 42 RBIs … played in 58 games with 56 starts — 55 in right field and one as designated hitter … 12 multiple-hit games, including a four-hit performance against UC Riverside with a grand slam, a two-run double and two singles, one of them knocking in a run, plus a sacrifice fly for eight total RBIs, tying a school Division I record set by Steve Pettit against Westmont in 2004 … nine multiple-RBI contests … did not commit an error in 150 fielding chances in the outfield … hit .303 versus right-handers, 6-for-10 with the bases loaded, was successful advancing runners 48.7 percent of the time and was successful driving in a runner from third and less than two outs 13 times in 17 attempts … one of three Mustangs granted a fifth year of post-COVID eligibility as part of a group of players who graduated from high school in 2021 and played two years at a community college followed by two seasons at one college or university without redshirting … did not play summer ball.
2024 — Appeared in 55 games with 49 starts (35 in left field, 14 in right field) … a .303 hitter in first season as a Mustang with 50 hits, including 15 doubles, two triples, one home run and 22 RBIs … stole one base … home run was a two-run shot against Santa Clara, sparking Mustangs to 9-3 win … also had an RBI double in that game … 16 multiple-hit games, including four-hit contest against Ohio State … seven multiple-RBI games … seven-game hitting streak from April 20 through May 3 (15-for-28, .535 average) … hit .353 versus southpaws, .339 in games on the road, .312 in night games and reached base safely 22 times in 45 opportunities as a leadoff hitter (48.9 percent) … played summer ball for Academy Barons in California Collegiate League … hit .152 with one double, a triple and four RBIs in nine games.
Golden West College — As a sophomore in 2023, Kordic hit .323 with 16 doubles, one triple, five home runs and 33 RBIs in 43 games as a first baseman … had a batting average of .357 with four doubles, one triple, two home runs and 21 RBIs as a freshman in 2022 … played summer ball for La Crosse in Northwoods League … “Cal Poly was the first school to give me a chance coming out of junior college. After visiting the field, facilities, and the school, I instantly fell in love and wanted to be a Mustang. The coaching staff, my teammates, and the community have made it such an incredible experience. San Luis Obispo will always be a second home to me.”
High School — A 2021 graduate of San Pedro High School … as a senior in 2021 hit .500 with 10 doubles, one triple, two home runs and 28 RBIs with 31 hits and 19 runs scored … 2021 CIF-Los Angeles Section City Player of the Year … also was San Pedro High School Scholar of the Year in 2021 and earned Daily Breeze Player of the Year and second-team all-state awards … also played football at San Pedro as a quarterback … in junior season (2019) completed 101 of 168 passes (60 percent) for 1,301 yards and 11 touchdowns … also passed for 218 yards and two scores in six games as a sophomore in 2018 … senior season (2020) was canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
