2025 — In first season at Cal Poly, produced a .314 batting average with 15 doubles, two triples, three home runs and 37 RBIs … stole six of eight bases … played in 61 games with 57 starts, all in left field … 17 multiple-hit games, including four-hit contests against Seton Hall, Cal State Bakersfield and UC Riverside … knocked in six runs in Seton Hall game with a trio of run-scoring singles and a bases-loaded triple … home runs were against Long Beach State (solo), UC San Diego (two RBIs) and CSUN (solo) … was 3-for-14 (.214) in first six games before rebounding with 36 hits and 25 RBIs over next 28 contests to lift average 81 points … also finished season going 28-for-60 (.433) over 17 contests to bump average up another 56 points … 6-for-8 with the bases loaded, reached base safely as leadoff hitter 43.9 percent of the time, was successful driving in a runner from third and less than two outs 11 times in 16 attempts and advanced runners 52.1 percent of the time … hit .333 in Big West games … played summer ball for Eau Claire Express in the Northwoods League, hitting .296 with nine doubles, a triple, one home run and 13 RBIs in 31 games … was 4-for-4 in stolen bases and had 22 multiple-hit games to his credit, including a pair of three-hit contests.

High School — A 2024 graduate of Petaluma HS … a three-year varsity letterman with a .384 career batting average … his 94 hits included 24 doubles, two triples and a pair of home runs … knocked in 37 runs in 82 contests and stole 43 bases … as a senior, struck out just seven times in 100 plate appearances, finishing with a .506 batting average, nine doubles and 14 RBIs … earned All-Bay Area First Team honors from West Coast Preps and played in North Bay All-Star Game … Vachini’s walk-off RBI single lifted Petaluma over Marin Catholic in first round of CIF-North Coast Section Division 2 playoffs … Trojans were 17-10 in 2024, placing second in Vine Valley League … Vachini hit .338 as a junior (2023) with nine doubles, a triple and nine RBIs … posted .310 mark in sophomore season with six doubles, one triple, two home runs and 14 RBIs … in 2024, played summer ball for Kelowna Falcons in West Coast League, hitting .322 in 16 games with 19 hits, all singles, and a pair of RBIs … recorded six multiple-hit games … chose to attend Cal Poly because "the program's track record of getting players to the next level while also having amazing academics."
