A fractured hand will keep O'Hare out of the lineup during the early portion of the 2016 season ... will back up Ben Polshuk in center field when he returns to the lineup ... one of just two seniors on the roster this spring.

2015 -- A .273 hitter in limited duty in the outfield as a sophomore ... played in 13 games with one start against Sacramento State ... all three hits were singles in games against Pacific, Cal State Fullerton and UC Riverside ... did not play summer ball.

Community College – Played one season at Santa Barbara City College in 2014, going 1-for-3 at the plate and participating in six contests for the Vaqueros … earned spot on President’s Honor Roll … played summer ball for the San Luis Obispo Blues in 2014 and hit .248 in 43 games with seven doubles, two triples and 25 RBI … stole four bases.

2013 -- Stepped away from school and sports for a year.

2012 -- Was a redshirt at Cuesta College.

High School – A 2011 graduate of San Luis Obispo High School … best year was his junior season under head coach and former Cal Poly pitcher Bobby Ryan … hit .395 with a double, one triple and eight RBI in 2010 as an outfielder, catcher and utility player … hit .247 as a senior with two doubles and 12 RBI, helping Tigers to 14-14 season, second-place tie in Pac-7 and a berth in the CIF-Southern Section playoffs.

Personal – Son of Dan and Kelly O’Hare … one sister, Maggie … enjoys cooking and barbecuing ... born November 28, 1992, in San Luis Obispo, Calif. … majors in business administration with a concentration in accounting.
