2025 — As a true freshman, posted a .356 batting average on his way to a spot on the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association All-Freshman Second Team … also earned All-Big West second-team honors as he finished 10th in the nation and second in the Big West with 13 sacrifice bunts … 14 doubles, a pair of triples, three home runs and third on the team with 50 RBIs … started 61 games, all at shortstop, missing only the San Jose State game March 11 … 9-for-14 in Cal State Bakersfield series with five RBIs … 22 multiple-hit games, including four-hit contests against Fresno State and Cal State Bakersfield and nine three-hit games … 14 multiple-RBI contests, including a quartet of three-RBI games in a six-game stretch … longest hitting streak was seven games … home runs were against Fresno State, Hawai’i and Santa Clara … 0-for-9 in season-opening UCLA series but rebounded with 38 hits in next 29 games … hit .386 in Big West games … hit .368 against right-handers, .406 with runners on base, .389 as a leadoff hitter, had 60.9 percent success advancing runners and was successful driving in a runner from third and less than two outs 18 times in 23 attempts … also hit .427 in home games … earned team’s Scott Kidd Rookie of the Year award … did not play summer ball.
