2019 -- A .283 hitter with 62 hits -- 15 doubles, one triple and one home run -- and 35 RBIs as a junior center fielder ... stole eight of 12 bases ... four errors in 156 chances ... started 54 games, all in center field ... hit lead off 11 times and was No. 3 in the order for the other 43 games ... hit .281 in Big West games only ... was 5-for-7 with the bases loaded and knocked in 11 runs in 14 opportunities with a runner on third base and less than two outs ... High School -- Beesley hit .410 as a senior and .427 in junior season under head coach Mike Bungarz at San Leandro High School ... also as a senior stole 23 of 25 bases and scored 36 runs, leading Pirates to 21-6 record and West Alameda County Conference championship ... eight doubles, three triples, three home runs and 19 RBI en route to first-team All-West Alameda County Conference and All-East Bay Times honors ... as a junior contributed five doubles and three triples, earning West Alameda County Conference Player of the Year honors ... struck out just five times in 102 plate appearances... also pitched 14 2/3 innings in relief with no record and a 2.39 ERA ...
