2012: Secured one out against Santa Clara on March 6, his lone appearance on the mound as a redshirt freshman … walked one and struck out one … played summer ball for Conejo Oaks in California Collegiate League, compiling 1-2 mark and 2.35 ERA … pitched 15 innings in 11 relief appearances with 21 strikeouts and only five walks … also earned a pair of saves.

2011: Redshirt … did not play summer ball.

High School: Compiled an 8-1 win-loss record and 1.95 ERA as a senior under head coach Pat Esposito at Granite Bay High School ... struck out 68 batters and walked just 10 in 61 innings, holding opposing hitters to a .197 batting average ... six complete games in last seven starts with one shutout, a 14-0 win over Woodcreek on April 12, 2010, with 10 strikeouts ... also notched pair of nine-strikeout games and one eight-strikeout performance ... also hit .231 with a double, two home runs and nine RBI ... led Grizzlies to 22-9 record, Sierra Foothill League title with 14-4 mark and runner-up finish in CIF-Sac-Joaquin Division II playoffs ... was named Sierra Foothill League MVP and also earned spot on All-Metro Team as selected by Sacramento Bee and All-CIF-Sac-Joaquin Section first team ... also lettered in basketball ... as a junior hit .462 with a double and compiled 4-3 record and 3.14 ERA, striking out 44 batters in 42 innings, leading Grizzlies to 21-11 record and CIF-Sac-Joaquin Section Division II runner-up finish ... recruited by Kansas and New Mexico State, choosing Cal Poly because it's a great school.
