2013: Played in first six games of sophomore season with five starts in left field before suffering season-ending leg injury in slide at third base in Kansas State series ... granted medical redshirt ... hit .308 with pair of doubles and one RBI prior to injury ... doubles were against Washington on March 2 and Kansas State on March 9 ... did not play summer ball as he continued his rehabilitation.
2012: In first collegiate season hit .400 in 33 games (17 starts) with three doubles, three triples, pair of home runs and 16 RBI … hit first Mustang homer against Cal State Fullerton on April 21, snapping a 6-6 tie with a two-run pinch-hit shot down the right-field line for the 8-6 win … other home run was a solo shot at Bakersfield on May 15 … 10-for-17 as a pinch-hitter … seven multiple-hit games, including three-hit contest against Bakersfield, and five multiple-RBI games … had a five-game hitting streak in March … in first college at-bat, singled as a pinch-hitter against Oklahoma State … went 8-for-14 in final six games of season to lift average 47 points … hit .462 with bases empty and was 4-for-6 with bases loaded … played summer ball for Corvallis Knights in West Coast Collegiate Baseball League, compiling .221 average (23-for-104) with five doubles and 13 RBI.
