What is Stang Gang?
Stang Gang is the official student section of Cal Poly Athletics Presented by Valencia Student Apartments.
The goal of Stang Gang is to support Cal Poly student-athletes by attending games, creating the best home field/court advantage for the Mustangs, and cheering on our teams to victory. Our motto comes directly from the Mustang Way: "When Mustangs support Mustangs, the Cal Poly community is strengthened."
Ride High Rewards
Is the official Rewards program of the Stang Gang!
Through the Cal Poly Athletics App all students can sign up for free to get rewards for attending Cal Poly Athletics events and other special events throughout the year. Earn rewards by attending games, interacting within the Go Poly Athletics App, and more! Rewards include prizes from local businesses, discounts in the community exclusive to Ride High Rewards, and Ride High Rewards swag such as t-shirts and hoodies!
Premium Access
Stang Gang Gold Level members get access to exclusive perks, including premium seating and priority access to tickets for special games, including the UCSB soccer game.
How does it Premium Access work?
It is simple:
- Sign up today through the app under the Prizes tab for just $10 and become a Stang Gang Gold Level member for your entire time at Cal Poly!
- Get an official Stang Gang T-shirt!
- Get Exclusive Giveaways throughout the year
- Get priority access to tickets for special games, including the UCSB soccer game
- Attend games, check in on the app, get points
Loyalty Points!
Stang Gang members earn loyalty points by attending designated Cal Poly home games and signing in through the Go Poly app. Members accumulate loyalty points all year long and receive rewards at each point level they reach. Earn 100 points for each athletic event you attend.
Loyalty points are given out at every home game. Games during school breaks and other events may be excluded. Check the weekly Stang Gang email for information about which games you can earn points at.
Earning Additional Points
You can earn additional points the following ways:
- Staying through events, all games will have a stay late bonus
- Crowd cameos, share a picture of yourself at an event
Earn Rewards!
Stang Gang members receive rewards when they earn enough loyalty points to reach a designated level. Loyalty points build all year long and are not cashed in when you reach a reward level. Rewards are distributed immediately at the Stang Gang table when you reach a reward level.
