A Saturday starter in his first and second seasons at Cal Poly, Weston likely will fulfill the same role as a graduate student this spring.

2022 -- In senior season, Weston compiled 7-3 record and 3.91 ERA as Cal Poly's Saturday starter ... 76 strikeouts and just 15 walks over 94 1/3 innings and opponents hit .277 against the southpaw ... walked only five batters in final nine starts of season ... season-high 10 strikeouts in win over UNLV on March 5 ... pair of complete games, both shutouts, against Dixie State (two hits, eight strikeouts, 9-0 win) on April 2 and UC Davis (five hits, nine strikeouts, 7-0 win) on May 21 ... five career complete games as a Mustang ... game up one home run in each of his first six starts and a team-high 12 for the season ... 15 starts and one relief appearance, tossing one inning against Santa Clara on March 29 ... did not play summer ball.

2021 -- Made 14 appearances on the mound, all as a starter in the middle of the Mustangs' pitching rotation ... compiled 5-6 record and 3.28 ERA with 74 strikeouts over 82 1/3 innings en route to All-Big West Conference honorable mention praise and shared Cal Poly's Scott Kidd Rookie of the Year Award with designated hitter Matt Lopez ... held opposing hitters to a .258 average ... went the distance three times, one of them a loss ... allowed one run and two hits with season-high 11 strikeouts for complete-game 5-1 win against Utah Valley ... gave up four runs and eight hits in a complete-game 4-1 loss to UC Irvine ... pitched a seven-inning shutout, scattering three hits in a 10-0 win over Cal State Fullerton, a game called due to the Big West's 10-run rule ... his three complete games are the most by a Mustang pitcher since Joey Wagman also notched three complete games in 2013 ... struck out nine twice and eight more in two other games ... in addition to Utah Valley and Cal State Fullerton, earned wins against CSUN (no earned runs over five innings), San Jose State (eight scoreless innings, three hits) and UC Santa Barbara (one run and five hits over 5 1/3 innings) ... did not play summer ball.

Boise State -- During his redshirt sophomore season with the Broncos in the pandemic-shortened 2020 season, Weston compiled a 1-2 record and 5.06 ERA ... in three appearances on the mound as Boise State's Friday night starter, Weston struck out 20 batters over 16 innings ... the southpaw earned his victory against Northern Colorado on Feb. 28, striking out 10 over seven scoreless innings and allowing just two hits in the 4-0 win ... that was in Boise State's first home game since 1980 as the Broncos reinstated baseball following a 40-year hiatus ... suffered losses against Texas and Seattle ... has three seasons of eligibility remaining ... played summer ball for La Crosse (Wisc.) Loggers in Northwoods League ... posted 1-0 record and 2.97 ERA with 43 strikeouts and just five walks over 36 1/3 innings ... chose to continue his academic and athletic careers at Cal Poly because "Cal Poly was a great fit for me academically and athletically, and in a great location."

Ventura College -- Played one season at Ventura College in 2019 and posted an 8-3 record and 2.63 ERA with a pair of saves ... logged 64 strikeouts and walked just 18 over 75 1/3 innings, earning a spot on the All-Western State Conference North Division First Team ... Ventura as 26-17 in 2019, falling to Long Beach CC in first round of SoCal Regionals.

San Diego State -- Signed a National Letter of Intent to further his baseball and academic careers at San Diego State and was a redshirt in 2018.

High School -- A 2017 graduate of Moorpark High School, Weston earned two varsity letters in baseball, twice earning All-Coastal Canyon League and All-Ventura County first-team honors ... registered an 8-3 mark as a senior with 73 strikeouts and a 0.92 ERA in 68 2/3 innings and was honored as Coastal Canyon League Pitcher of the Year, Ventura County Pitcher of the Year and a spot on the All-CIF-Southern Section Division 2 First Team ... Musketeers were 25-4 overall and reached the second round of the CIF-Southern Section Division 2 playoffs in 2017 ... Weston went 9-2 with a 1.62 ERA as a junior in 2016 while fanning 83 batters in 64 2/3 innings ... an Honors graduate with a grade-point average above 4.00.

Personal -- Son of Kurt and Jill Weston ... one brother, Trevor, who pitched at Moorpark College ... born in Moorpark, Calif. ... aspires to be successful in the business industry ... enjoys playing golf ... graduated in June 2022 with a degree in business administration and is pursuing a master's in public policy.
