SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — The Mustangs (2-1) will have an extended break following their weekend in North Carolina, as their upcoming midweek opponent, San Jose State, has announced the postponement of Tuesday’s game due to forecasted inclement weather.
Originally scheduled for 1:00 p.m. in San Jose, the game may be rescheduled for a later date at the discretion of both head coaches.
In the meantime, Cal Poly now turns its attention to its home-opening series against Washington State, a four-game set running from Friday, Feb. 20 to Monday, Feb. 23. The series kicks off a nine-game homestand at Baggett Stadium before conference play begins in March.
Cal Poly opened the season by taking two of three games from frequent regional contender Campbell last weekend, which included a doubleheader sweep on Saturday.
