Tanner Sagouspe was lights out for the Mustangs, making three relief pitching appearances, two of which were during wins over LMU and No. 1 Texas A&M. “Goose” has retired his last ten batters faced, six on Sunday and four on Saturday.
He has still yet to allow a single run this season, striking out seven and walking just one in the process. The righty picked up the upset win over Texas A&M after a pair of 1-2-3 innings to shut down one of the nation's best offenses. Sagouspe has given up only a single hit in 67 total pitches.
