Cal Poly Beach Volleyball Hosting Pepperdine, Stanford, LMU for Fall Tournament

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Fans of Cal Poly beach volleyball, who saw last year's team advance to the program's first NCAA Championship semifinal, will get their first chance to see this year's Cal Poly team play in person as the Mustangs will host their own fall tournament this weekend.
The event will take place Friday, Oct. 11-Sunday, Oct. 13 with Pepperdine, Stanford, and LMU all coming to compete. Friday's matches will take place at Swanson Beach Volleyball Complex on campus while Saturday and Saturday will take place on the beach in Pismo Beach.
Friday, Cal Poly's 6-10 pairs will face Stanford at 12 p.m. followed by the 1-5 pairs at 1:15 p.m. At 2:30, pairs from all four teams will be competing at the same time at Swanson Beach Volleyball Complex.
LMU will face Pepperdine at 3:45, Stanford will take on LMU at 5 p.m. and the Mustangs will face Pepperdine at 6:15 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday in Pismo Beach, matches will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to all matches is completely free.
The Mustangs return 23 of 25 players from last year's team, including nine of the 10 players from last season's starting pairs.
