FULLERTON – Junior forward Brantly Stevenson (above) finished with a team leading 17 points for the Cal Poly men's basketball program Saturday afternoon, but the Mustangs – after falling behind Cal State Fullerton by double digits midway through the first half – sustained an 83-62 setback inside Titan Gym.
Senior forward Alimamy Koroma produced 11 points and junior guard Camren Pierce added 10 for Cal Poly (7-21, 1-15), which trailed Cal State Fullerton (16-12, 10-6) wire-to-wire as the Titans sank 13 three-pointers. Cal Poly shot 50.0 (12-for-24) percent from the floor during the second half, but Cal State Fullerton finished with a 52.8 (28-for-53) percent mark for the matchup.
