SAN LUIS OBISPO – Senior forward Alimamy Koroma produced his 43rd career double-digit scoring game with a team high 11 points Friday evening, but the Cal Poly men's basketball program dropped a 74-45 home decision to Weber State inside Mott Athletics Center.
Senior guard Trevon Taylor added 10 points for Cal Poly (5-5), which was kept to a 34.7 (17-for-49) percent field goal mark while Weber State (4-7) shot 52.9 (27-for-51) percent and knocked down 11 three-pointers.
Junior center Bryan Penn-Johnson (above) chipped in a Cal Poly best eight points while junior forward Brantly Stevenson grabbed a team leading six rebounds.

Keyed by five early Taylor points, Cal Poly led Weber State after two-and-a-half minutes, 9-3. The Wildcats, however, countered with a 26-2 run, keeping the Mustangs to just a Penn-Johnson dunk during a near-12-minute span.
Penn-Johnson briefly stemmed Weber State's run with another dunk, but the Wildcats – who knocked down six of their first eight three-point attempts – led by as much as 19 before taking a 40-25 advantage into the break.
Cal Poly opened the second half with two Koroma free throws, but the 13-point deficit was as close as the Mustangs closed the remainder of the evening.
