Elise Krieghoff

Elise Krieghoff played women's soccer at Cal Poly from 2012-15.
She was Big West freshman of the year in 2012 and first-team All-Big West in 2013, 2014 and 2015. She was named Big West Offensive player of the year in 2013.
Krieghoff scored five goals against Fresno State as a sophomore in 2013, earning numerous awards for the week. She was a Soccer News College Boot Award finalist in 2013, Missouri Athletic Club Hermann Trophy candidate in 2014 and Senior Class Award All-American in 2015.
Krieghoff holds Cal Poly school records for single-season goals (21), career goals (52) and game-winning goals (7). In 2013, she was one of 26 players invited to the U.S. Women’s National Team U-23 training camp held in Chula Vista, Calif.
Krieghoff earned her degree in fire science at Cal Poly in 2016 and played professionally for the Boston Breakers (NWSL) in 2016 and Vålerenga (Norway) in 2017. Since then, she served as junior varsity head coach for three seasons at San Luis Obispo High School and was a volunteer firefighter with the San Francisco Fire Reserves from 2018-20.
Krieghoff has worked in community outreach for young women at local booths in San Francisco and Seattle and is a member of the Camp Blaze organization which promotes firefighting for young women.
She currently is living with her partner, Oliana Luke, in Seattle, Wash., and is working at Station 6 as a firefighter in Seattle’s Central District.
