- 65' x 40' Daktronics videoboard installed during the summer of 2023
- Returning Soon: Mustang Memorial Plaza, a remembrance of the victims of the tragic 1960 plane crash in which members of the football team lost their lives. Located at the south entry to the stadium, the plaza is surrounded by individual memorial columns for each of the 18 players and athletic staff members who died in the crash.
- The 18 square columns that vary in height (dependent on the height of each victim) are laid out in a unifying circle that resembles a huddle, and are clad in natural copper, topped with a lamp and display plaques that tell the story of each individual. These individuals become memorialized as eternal Cal Poly fans, welcoming current fans attending various sporting events. Through human touch and weather, each copper column will patina over time. As the main entry for sporting events, the plaza, with its trees, landscaping, stone seating walls and brick donor pavers, also offers a serene social space on non-event days.
- A memorial plaque honoring members of the 1960 Cal Poly football team who lost their lives in a plane crash at Toledo Airport was dedicated in June 1967 at what was then called Mustang Stadium.
- Cal Poly Partners Plaza: A new addition to Mustang Memorial in 2024 that features a VIP terrace with exclusive seating and catering. As well as expanded food vendors and options for all attendees to enjoy.
