Cal Poly’s Women’s Basketball Game at UC Irvine Thursday Canceled

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Cal Poly's women's basketball game scheduled for Thursday at UC Irvine has been canceled due to illness among the players in the Mustang program. The game against the Anteaters will not be made up and will count as a forfeit and loss for the Mustangs per Big West bylaw 4.3.3: Any scheduled Conference contest not honored by a member institution's sports team shall be counted as a forfeit for the cancelling institution. Currently, Cal Poly is scheduled to face UC Davis on the road Saturday at 2 p.m.
