NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – Junior Jennifer Keddy tallied 16 kills in Cal Poly volleyball's loss to Cal State Northridge in three sets on Saturday. Keddy recorded 16 kills on 31 swings with only one hitting error.
With the loss the Mustangs concludes the season with a 12-17 overall record and 7-9 in conference play.
Cal Poly hit .252 while CSUN hit .328.
CSUN he the advantage in digs, 59-51, and in assists 49-31.
Cal Poly tallied six total blocks with CSUN recording four.
After opening the first set down 6-0, the Mustangs battled back to cut the score to 17-15 on a kill by Graven. But CSUN rallied back to win the set 25-17.
In the second set Cal Poly cut the lead to 24-21 with CSUN calling a timeout. The set was a battle back and fourth with either team holding an advantage.
CSUN won the set 25-21.
In the third set the Mustangs cut the lead to three (15-12) on a kill by Gravin and 16-13 on a kill by Keddy. But CSUN recovered and went on to win the set 25-19.
