Three Cal Poly Women’s Tennis Players Earn Big West All-Conference Honors
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Three Mustang women's tennis players earned Big West All-Conference honors, the conference announced Wednesday.
Juniors Emily Louie-Meadors was named to the First Team for singles. Junior Susanne Boyden earned Second Team for singles and the doubles tandem of Louie-Meadors and freshman Emily Ackerman were named All-First Team for doubles.

In singles, Louie-Meadors finished the season 9-5 from the No. 1 spot, the most singles wins on the team. This is the first Big West All-Conference honor for the transfer from Navy. There, she was named to the All-Patriot League Second Team as a sophomore.

Boyden earned Second Team All-Conference honors after going 8-4 in dual matches from primarily the No. 2 position. She was also Cal Poly's only Big West Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week recipient this season, garnering the award February 27th. This is the third straight year she has made an All-Conference team after being named Honorable Mention last year and All-Second Team as a freshman.

Louie-Meadors and Ackerman earned First Team All-Conference in doubles after going 6-3 from the No. 1 spot. Under head coach Kat Winterhalter, Cal Poly has had a doubles team make All-Conference in all her five years.

The Mustangs finished the season 7-12 and were eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Big West Tournament.
